Did you ever find a timer? My husband wants to install one on the other side of the bathroom - his 14 year old takes way too long of showers too and is tired of having to police him. He was thinking of a timer (like on a jacuzzi) that the kid would have to turn on, then run for the shower quick - and when the timer goes off - the water goes off.
