Motion Detecor

I am having a little trouble with my lights. I have three carrige lights for my garage. I am trying to install a motion detector to operate all three lights at the same time. The lights are controlled by one switch inside my home. The motion detector has three wires comming from it, 1 black, 1 red, and 1 white, and the carrage lights have two. How do I connect these to control all of the lights and by pass the switch?
