We have been in our newly built home five winters. All of a sudden, this year, the floor in the den started to squeek as we walk in front of the couch. The floor is carpeted with plywood underlayment.
In the basement, there is insulation in between the rafters.
How do I remedy the squeeking once I remove the insulation to get at the sub-flooring?
