good-luck finding any kind of directions you can call them and they will charge you a chunk to come reset it. believe me i know. You spend this much money on something and have no directions are we stupid or what! I did the same thing no trouble shooting guide or anything. mine has been down for about 6 months now and they will come repair it for about 600.00 I spent 600 a couple of years ago. This time i am going to invest the 600.00 in another softner hopefully with instructions that i can understand. good-luck
