We live in a beautiful big city duplex from the 40's with a backroom off of the kitchen that would be perfect for a washer dryer. The problem is that there are no pre-existing hook-ups. Is there anyway to route water and/or gas from the kitchen (or elsewhere)to install a washer dryer? If I never see a laundromat again it will be too soon. I know some people put their washer and dryer in closets -- are there usually existing hook-ups?
