I am in the process of finishing my basement. I am looking to stomp the ceiling. My question is when you are finished taping and mudding the ceiling do you prime over the seams and holes first or do you stomp the ceiling first and then prime over the stomped ceiling. I also heard that is better to leave the ceilng un sanded because it alows the joint compound to stick to the ceiling better. Is this true.
