I just had my guest bath reglazed by Bathcrest. There were quite a few refinishing companies out there to choose from but most reputable reglazing companies will give you a five year warrannty my understanding is if the tub is properly maintained the finish should last much longer than the five year warranty ask for refrences and follow up. The people I spoke with were very happy with there refinished tub. Bathcrest also installs liners they are supposed to prevent leaks I would imagine if anyone had leaks their liner was not properly installed. Bathcrest has a website at www.Bathcrest.com.
