i recently bought a ceiling fan with remote control. the wiring is looks simpler than the conventional fans. ultimately. there are two wires, black/red (hot) and white are the one that needs to be connected to the power source. there are several sheathed electrical cable wires in my attic. can i tap any one of these wires to supply power into the ceiling fan???
(TomR, this may be similar to the wireless kits that you are talking about, only the kit came with the fan...)
