Provided we're not talking about a large amount of motion from this crack, my suggestion would be to insulate the replacement flooring from further slab crack motion by using a HardiBacker underlayment, particulary if you wish to use tile again.
The underlayment can be adhered to the slab below with a thinset full-flex mortar (or possibly a construction adhesive), and this will allow the crack below to fluctuate as needed while the finish floor remains in tact.
