I am thinking about adding two rooms to an existing pier and beam foundation home. Does anyone see a problem with setting the piers on the concrete slab of the adjacent existing garage ,or is this a no-no? If this is ok, would I have to fasten the new beams to the existing floor? Just started thinking about this project....appreciate any and all input.
