Yes, I wire brushed the joint area to be soldered, then applied #95 Tinning Flux on the copper spigot tube as well as around the faucet housing hole where the tube is to be inserted, then solder away, but the solder wouldn't adhere to the faucet housing part. AARRGGG! Do you think JB weld is the way to go?
