Go to E-mail BobVila.com, and tell them your idea(s). They're usually responsive, and will generally do so in a week or so. If you feel that strongly about it, go for it! :)
Also, there is a site FAQ and a 'Tips' page too. (Kinda like an archive.) My best to ya and hope this helps.
