Drywall repairs...

Posted by Dave in CO on May 11th, 2003 07:53 PM

I have recently removed some flood damaged drywall from my home. In doing so, I left the existing and undamaged textured ceilings in place. Now I have an issue: How do I tape the wall-ceiling joints? Do I need to sand down the ceilings at the edge, tape and retexture, or can I simply tape over the existing texture? Is there a specific ceiling-wall bead that I can purchase to make this easier as well?

Thanks for the help!
