I responded awhile ago that I did NOT paint my fireplace; I tried the TSP and loved the way it ended up. Just a few dark spots left and I'm going to attack them again as soon as I get time. I appreciate your help. I'll probably drive you and Henry crazy everytime I want to start a new project. Good luck with the weather.
