Water pressure

Posted by mike kahn on May 12th, 2003 09:40 AM

Question:
I have a well 120 ft. deep with a 10 gallon a minute pump. I had a 40 gallon pressure tank that had a blown seal. My neighbor replaced the pressure tank with a new 40 gallon tank. I have it at 38 PSI.
When I had the old pressure tank with the blown seal I was still getting good pressure with no fluctuation. With the new tank the pressure is not as good and the fluctuation is bad.
Example: When taking shower and toilet
flushes water pressure and
tempeture changes.
Is there something I can do. Thanks. mike...............................
