i have been given price $495.PAINTING AND BATH LINER $1200. NO WARRANTY UNLESS I PUT UP WALL SURROUND&WILL NOT PUT UP MY GOOD SHOWER DOORS OR NO WARRANTY ,,HAVE TO BUY THEIR DOORS AND CAN'T USE MY PLUMBER OR MY FAUCETS NO WARR. sO ALL IN ALL $3411.My plumber said it would better to go with liner than paint as wouldn't last /fumes etc. but we didn't like the blackmale with liner and only 5 yr war. if you look at every thing. So I can take out all tile and wall board put in new cast iron tub tHAT LASTS FOREVER or he & others mention good option of americast by american standard ,like cast but lighter to put in.I don't how long that will last and seems care is same as liner and fiberglass.Don't know warranty. will check all this out tomorrow..Any ideas.I am a senior so will not worry if I get years but you never know and would't want to go thru this again.My tiles have been falling,so taking all down.want to replace with larger floor tiles,less grout.Should I try to hammer out tub??Already sore from taking down tiles ,trying not to break them as someone can use them.Have to cut out drywall or tear all down & put new up.(which I can no longer do large sections)This is needed for either cast iron or americast tub. Yes ,I have got my self at my age a real mess as my kids see it and want no part of it..Advise please.
