I have in past replaced a tub with a 3 piece fiberglass tub/surround unit. I was happy with it. I sold house five years ago, so not sure how it has held up. But, for the three years I was there, it was very nice. I plan to take a sledge hammer to my current cast iron tub & put in the 3 piece fiberglass tub again.....
