fake copper laminate

I saw a home show where they used a fake copper laminate as a backplash. They said it was some kind of metal with copper placed on it and that it was much cheaper than the real thing. I haven't had any luck at my local Home Center. Can anyone tell me where I might purchase this. Also, is this something anyone would recommend as a backsplash and as an onlay for kitchen cabinets.
