hang in there girl! I moved into a 20 year old mobile home and lived there for ten years. I now own a home and rent out my trailer. I had to do a lot of work to rent it. I'm a fixer-upper, too (female). A lot of what you have to do, contrary to popular belief is very close to "normal" homes. I remodeled the kitchen, including replacing the floor, put up trim molding, etc. Cosmetic stuff mostly. I know what you're talking about is more involved but for real that's what i'm looking at now and everyone i've talked to in the construction business says the same thing- it's not that much different. I do have to replace the windows and the only advice i've gotten on that is to replace mobile home windows with mobile home windows because they come out and go in the same way. just look in the yellow pages and on the internet for mobile home supplies!
