i would like to keep the colour of the house and make it have a wet look or a shinier finish but also seal it and waterproof it some. It is all cedar sided .It would be nice to bring out the knots in the wood, with more of a penetrating oil , i tried to use a sealant but because the house has never been done it soaked right in and you can't even tell it was done . thank you
