And you paid below average. A top quality exterior house paint ($30/gallon) will perform accordingly. Try higher end products from Benjimin Moore, Sherwin Willimas, or Glidden. Lighter products fade less and absorb less heat, but higher quality paints include additives to resist UV and heat better.
