I am losing water from my toilet bowl. The water level in the bowl is about 3 inches deep right after a flush, but then drops to about 1 inch after a couple of hours. There are no signs of leaks or water damage anywhere. Could there be a vacuum on the drain pipe such that the trap is being emptied?
If so, how can it be stopped? If not, what else could it be?
