I am a carpenter and I have done lots of different remodeling jobs, and I was wondering if you could help me identify what a certain kind of ceiling texture was and how to patch it. I patched a 4' by 4' hole in a ceiling and the texture is kind of different. It isn't any kind of knockdown. The best way I can describe it is almost like a heavy orange peel with coarse sand in it or on it, is there any textbook method that sounds like this or is it just some one of a kind-good luck matching it well jobs. Thanks for any advice you can offer.
