has a water temperature balancing feature for mixing of the hot and cold. or the other solution is increase the size of the cold water line coming into the house and maybe to that shower fixture too ...What is happening is the cold water supply line is getting reduced flow rate when another fixture off the same cold water feed is being used resulting in a drop in water pressure and flow to the rest of the house. consult a good licensed plumber to solve your house or Operationally ask the rest of the family to hold off on water use ,,particularly cold water use .,,while you are in the shower. good luck LJ
