In reply to Don't Join: Handyman Club of America by Rick Sattler on October 9th, 1999 07:01 PM [Go to top of thread]

If I had known it would have been this difficult to cancal a membership with a magazine, I would have never joined. I have (hoping to use the word "had")been a member of the Handyman club for I believe 3 or 4 years.I'm still trying to cancel my membership due to recent change in my career.I have sent numerous letters of cancelation and even sent my statement along with my letter to every department I could get an address to. Obviously Handyman Club does not provide the proper guidelines and/or correct address along with personel for this process.
The latest after a 6 month period which I thought I was in the clear, I have received a letter from some person named Kate Pope who is an account manager.Since there is no number or email address other than the address I have written to before, I am using this opportunity to say to ALL personel of the HANDYMAN CLUB OF AMERICA and of course Kate Pope. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!! CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!
Thank you
