Air compressor tank

I understand your concern, Dodgeman.
I've always tried to keep the tank drained to minimize rusting, but of course I can't see inside the thing. Other than removing the drain cock, and looking in that hole, I'm not sure there's a way to do that. I'm also not sure what would be considered "major" rust, if I did find some.
It is old, but I just hate to throw away something when it's still working...Especially a piece of equipment that is so expensive! Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
