I too have a big problem with Masking Tape (the cream colored type) I used it to tape the window frames while I painted them and it is now stuck on/fused on/dried on. I cannot remove it. I have tried WD40, cooking oil, and varsol. Any Ideas??? I would be greatful for some sound advice.
