I went into Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and clicked on "Edit", then clicked the "Find (on this page)" option, or you can try pressing the "Ctrl" key and letter "F" simultaneously. It allowed me to search through the list just fine. You may want to try experimenting a little. Sometimes you have to click the mouse on the page to give explorer a starting point but if you click a post it will go into the post.
I'm not a net-nerd, but I know the "Find" function is a great tool. I hope you get it working.
