I just had rough cut Hemlock Siding (3/4 inch thick) put on our Cottage in the Adirondak Mountains. The wood was pretty green as it was just cut off the log after being felled last year. I am trying to determine how long to wait for the siding to dry out before using a semi-transparent stain. Opinions??
