Well M. sheppard, I can suggest you look to see what is preventing the louvers from opening. something may now be jamming them. take a flashlight and look at louvers closely. try to see if they open freely with your hand. they may just need lubricated. its probable something very simple, if you take some time to study the louvers closly and look for anything binding them you will probably find your answer.
