We just moved my Mother's house back off the road, up the hill, behind the pond. You can't walk five feet without seeing a hole. Since we have moved the house we have also found three very large snakes. I believe they are eating off the crawfish. My husband kills them which I don't like, they keep the mice down and I believe the crawfish too. I have not seen the crawfish but in an area that we want to put a above ground pool, there are about two dozen holes. I'm afraid they will damage the pool. Any other ideas other than eating them? We did that as a family when I was young and it was gross.
