Alkalyn batteries may contain hazardous materials that could have ruptured. Use rubber gloves for this job when you pick out debris. By clogged I assume you mean the blades don't turn (jammed). With most disposers, you can insert a 1/4" Allen wrench into a port on the bottom, center of the disposer (under the sink). By turning the wrench back and forth, you can wiggle the masher plate inside the disposer and may be able to dislodge whatever has jammed the disposer. You should unplug or disconnect power to the disposer before starting.

If the above does not work, you may need to turn the center hub using a 1/2" socket on an extension, and a long screwdriver or rod and attempt to manually turn the disposer blades off of the battery to clear the jamb. Use the wrench to turn and use the screwdriver to pry and apply torque. You then need to pull the debris out.

If the disposer does not run or hum after the debris is cleared the overload protection switch needs to be reset. This usually a red push button on the bottom of the motor.
