Hi, Emily. The first thing that I would try is the solvent for the stain (what you use for cleaning brushes as listed on the can). This is no doubt mineral spirits/paint thinner. Put some on a rag and try to rub the stain off. When you have gotten off as much as possible, leave the rag outside for a couple of days before you bring it in to throw it away.
