I have just removed wallpaper on plaster walls and find small holes (from pictures), some larger holes(about the size of a quarter), some hairline cracks and larger cracks in corners as well as spaces at baseboards. The walls are generally in good smooth repair, however I have not removed all glue residue left from wallpaper removal. This is an older home with the possibility of lead in paint . Is skimming the best way to go? I do not have the finances to have the walls professionally removed. I also need info on the best product and method on filling in spaces and/or joints around baseboards where they meet walls before painting. What is the best way to clean hot water radiators? Where do I get plans to build a cover for these radiators?
