Sorry to here what happened to you, it is a very typical problem for home owners. Allways select a lic. and bonded company to do the work you are not familar with. Pay only minimum down payment, that way if the contractor screwsup its his cost not yours. You can make the windows fit by removing old frames. May need to do a little trim work on exterior, depends of wall materials. Good luck
