There is a difference between price and value. You can buy a corded, 3/8" VSR drill for $8.50--new, made in china. You can get a 9.6V for $14, new, with charger.

I have seen WELL used tools offered at comparable prices to what you could buy new. I say "offered" because they were not sold for those prices. I have seen antique and collectible tools sold for many times their original cost. Anything like this is what the market will bear.
