DH and I built a home and moved in about 16 months ago. Am cautious about forming hard and fast friendships with immediate neighbors, but definitely want to maintain amicable relations. Was not entirely upset when a neighbor to one side began planting on our side of the property line. Not great, but no big deal. Until now because ANOTHER neighbor on another side has decided to effect a repair to her fence by propping it up with a 4 x 4 in my garden. Neither of these neighbors has once asked for input from me as they deal with their landscaping issues in my yard. Am I being petty? If not, what's a good way to address these people who seem to prefer my yard without starting a war?
