I have two question regarding old wall plaster. My first question is does removing old plaster create a health hazard ? My second question is can you place new dry wall or wood over the old plaster or is it necessary to remove the plaster and lath ? My house is a stone and frame cottage that was built around 1901 and I'm trying to get some remodeling ideas. Thank you.
