I have had my paper hung for 6 months and have been trying to paint a second color over the first color, but cannot get the second color on without streaks or blotches or lines. I have tried a pad, a rag, and a roller and a brush, but cannot keep the streaks and lines out and get the second color on just the raised parts. When I tried the second color on a piece of scrap that was not hung it works great, but when I go to the hung paper it won't work. My husband is threatening to paint it all one color and put the trim back up. Any ideas anybody?
