I had a guy just inspect my gutters for replacement. My concern was that portions of the facia are rotted. But he sounded confident that he could eliminate any facia problems or future concerns with an aluminum wrap around the facia. This sound feasible or common practice? I'm not sure I like the idea of putting the aluminum around a rotted piece of wood.
