I have a gas furnace, base board hot water, 2-zones. I have a leak upstairs that I can repair by cutting and sweating the copper, but I'm not sure how to drain the furnace to fix the leak and then fill it up again and have it go back to the 15 lbs of pressure. I know where the shut off is and the drain valve on the furnace. Do I have to blow the pilot light out too?
