Hi, Mac.
Where I live, we have a story about a little boy
who put his finger in a dijk, and in doing so
he saved the town from a flood."Nice".but not true.
If you put your finger in the hole the water will
still keep coming..IN OTHER WORDS THE PROBLEM GETS LARGER.
and so will the rot you have
in your facia,replace the rotted timber paint it
and then if you wish cover it with alumininum.
