I was having trouble with my craftsman 1/2 hp opener. The sensor eyes were not misaligned and there didn't seem to be anything in the way. I held the wall button down until the door closed. Now I cannot get the opener to respond to anything. When I push the remotes, wall unit or even the keypad the light comes on only and everything blinks, so I know the motor unit is getting power. I have tried the reset button at the same time with remote but still nothing other than the blinking of the yellow light. It blinks 5 times then starts the cycle over again. I feel this means something but can not find any reference in troubleshooting. is there anything else I can do to reset the motor unit other than call repair...... just for them to make the call is too expensive.
