I purchased a house with what I was told are black granite countertops. I sealed them with StoneTech Impregnator Pro. It hasn't prevented light colored rings from wine glasses or spots from drops of lemon juice that might fly in unintended directions. I was told that stains to this countertop would occur with oil and turn dark, but oil isn't at all a problem. I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with this and if these are indeed granite. Thank you.
