We purchased an older country home that has an addition with a nearly flat roof. I guess maybe the slope to it might be 6 inches from front to back and measures 24 feet in length by 30 feet. The roof is galvanized tin and ever since we have lived here we have been fighting leak after leak. We would love to pull the tin off and use something that would not only stop the leaks but make that roof useable as a deck since there is a door going out onto it from the second floor of the main house. But, we have no idea what to use. We have more time than money so would appreciate any suggestions as to how we can do this ourselves and finally stop our leak problem while gaining a deck with a beautiful view. Thanks for any help.
