Good day! We are in the process of removing older carpet from our second floor. The previous owner used adhesive glue to lay down the carpet. The carpet is an old red plaid and very thin with a thin black foam. The room is 40 ft long X approximately 20 ft wide. Do you have any help for us? We are scraping and realize that it will take a long time, but any helpful hints would be appreciated. We are remodeling and making this our master bedroom - sitting room.
