dleaning kitchen cabinets - wood - grease and just good cleaning

I am redoing my kitchen. My cabinets are in good shape, although they are 30 years old. The ones surrounding my stove have grease and film on them. what is the best thing to use to clean these. I have used orange glow but it didn't do the job. Please let me know. Thanks you for your help. Janet McNeal - Ashville, Ohio
