inside a dark covered pier situation? Might consider allowing the water to dry out before parking the boat inside the pier structure. OR, take a leaf blower with you on trips and before putting the boat up, dry the area with the blower.
Mold is caused by damp, dry, and dark environments. Reducing either one of these will reduce the mold completely.
