Siding on our home (3yrs old) in Northern Virginia is warping and buckling (literally melting) in several places. We have been told this is caused from heat generated by sun reflecting off the windows and that the solution is to put a solar reflecting/protection film on the inside of the windows.
Several homes in this area by same contractor with same siding manu. having same problem.
Would appreciate your thoughts, advice or whatever on this problem and possible solutions.
