When we built our house we had a problem with the mortar being a different color. It didn't seem like a big deal at the time. The brick company said go ahead & use it & they would take care of things.
My husband decided that they might make things worse, so we did nothing. The outside walls that have been exposed to light look OK. But, the wall under the front porch doesn't look OK. It is light at the bottom about halfway up & darker at the top.
My husband is one of those guys that won't ask for directons or advice. He's a sweetheart but thinks he knows everything...:)
